The incident was reported to have happened at a pub on Teign Street at around 9.30pm on 23rd August.
A woman was bitten on the face by a dog resulting in her needing first-aid treatment.
Police investigating the incident would like to identify the man pictured as they believe he may be able to assist with their enquiries.
