Orchestra Limited, a company which has the franchises for a number of McDonalds restaurants in the Exeter area, has applied to the city council for permission to open another of them for 24 hours a day.
The McDonalds on the Stone Lane retail estate is already a 24-hour restaurant.
Now the company wants to open its outlet in Russell Way around the clock as well, seven days a week.
The application can be found on the city council’s website, and representations for or against can be made to the council until February 25.
