Artists based in Exeter are being given the opportunity to apply for funding for creative projects in the city.
Creative Arc, a collaboration between the University of Exeter and Exeter City Council, has launched its fourth round of commissions to deliver a programme of cultural activity across the city.
They are looking for proposals from Exeter-based Creative Practitioners from any artform.
A range of commission budgets are available for the latest round, from £1,000 to £2,500 (including VAT). The total funding pot is £15,000.
The deadline for applications is 9am on Tuesday 26 August. The selected creative projects will take place between October and February 2026.
Creative Arc is looking for projects with meaningful community engagement and participation at their heart, led by Exeter-based individual creative practitioners or organisations, and which involve Exeter-based communities. Projects must be relevant to the priority theme Thriving Places, and focus on Community, People and Place-shaping.
While this funding can be used to activate new projects, the call is open to proposals that seek to further develop/deepen projects that are already underway/planned. All projects must be delivered and provide full reporting data by 1 March 2026.
Visit the Creative Arc website for more information and how to apply.
Creative Arc is jointly funded by the University of Exeter and through a percentage of Exeter City Council’s allocation of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. This funding is focussed on the role of culture and creativity in developing and shaping place.
This project is part-funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
