In a statement on their Facebook page, they have confirmed that all the committee members will be standing down and the company will cease trading as of 31st December 2025
The statement goes onto say that this has not been an easy decision as some committee members have been associated with the carnival for over 70 years. However as the years have gone on its been harder to put on the show due to the changing rules and regulations. Together with this the raising of money to finance it.
If anyone is interested in forming a new committee and starting a fresh please contact axministercarnival@outrlook.com by 27th November.
Finally the committee would like to thank everyone who has helped us over the years, those that have given their time freely and generously to tey7 and keep a tradition alive.
