The Neighbourhood Plan proposes a site for up to nine homes in the village and formal protection for four locally valued green spaces. Community facilities, sustainability, the local economy, employment, housing, parking, and the natural environment are some of the topics that are also covered.

EDDC is required to consult on the Neighbourhood Plan for at least six weeks before it goes to an independent Examiner, who ensures that it meets ‘basic conditions’. If these conditions are met, a local community referendum will be held. If more than half of voters are in favour of the plan
