Arts and Culture East Devon (ACED) have announced the new recipients of the Creative East Devon Fund.
The recipients received grants of up to £3,000. The total funding amounted to £20,985 and the projects all will be completed by Spring 2026.
The third round of the Creative East Devon Fund will support inspirational projects: from oral history projects and storytelling sessions to discovery workshops and collaborative artworks promoting sustainability, creative writing workshops and spoken word performances to animation workshops.
These inspiring projects range across multiple creative industries (music, dance, theatre, heritage, film, spoken word, digital and visual arts) celebrating everyday creativity. The funds will help improve the lives of East Devon residents in many ways including:
- Tackling environmental, economic, social and cultural issues
- Improving access, restoring or enhancing cultural facilities or creative networks
- Developing initiatives to specifically improve the cultural offer for young adults (18-30 years) in East Devon
Since 2023, the Creative East Devon Fund has provided financial support to bolster art and culture projects that can demonstrate a commitment to developing the East Devon Cultural Strategy. The scheme is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
