People in Exeter who are struggling to let a bedroom or a home are being encouraged to get in touch with the City Council.

Cllr Marina Asvachin, Lead Councillor for Housing, Homelessness Prevention and Customer Services, said:
“We currently have a large demand for all types of accommodation in Exeter.
“We know that many properties and bedrooms are standing vacant in the city. Our vision is to create sustainable tenancies that work for landlords and tenants alike.”
The City Council offers a competitive range of financial and other benefits, including up-front cash incentives for landlords, deposits and rent in advance, and ongoing support for both landlords and tenants.
