Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a single vehicle road traffic collision on the A30 westbound slip road for Exeter Airport, at Clyst Honiton.
Officers were called at around 12:05pm on Sunday 3 August to reports of the collision involving a Blue BMW 5 Series Saloon.
Sadly, the passenger in the vehicle – a woman in her 30s from Plymouth – was declared deceased at the scene.
The male driver, who is also from Plymouth and in his 30s, was taken to hospital having suffered serious injuries. Their next of kin are aware.
Officers from the Roads Policing Team would like to thank the public for their patience whilst the road was closed.
