Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a fatal road traffic collision at Smeatharpe, near Honiton.
At around 10.50am on Saturday 10 August we were called following a single vehicle collision on an unnamed road at the eastern end of Upottery Airfield, Smeatharpe.
The collision involved a Suzuki Bandit motorcycle.
As a result of the collision, the rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 60s from the London area, was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries but was pronounced deceased shortly after arrival.
Police would like to thank the public for their patience while they investigated the scene.
