Four new governors following by-election for Exeter NHS Foundation Trust

Following the NHS Southern constituency by-election this April, four new public governors have joined the Council of Governors. Maureen, Jacqueline, Matthew, and Elizabeth began their terms on 10 April, and the trust looks forward to working with them.

Following the NHS Southern constituency by-election to the Council of Governors held this April, they’re delighted to welcome four new public governors.

Thank you to all the candidates who stood in the by-election, and welcome to the new governors Maureen, Jacqueline, Matthew and Elizabeth, who will all be doing their best to represent the members in the Southern constituency and their interests.

The new governors commenced their terms of office on 10 April and the trust are looking forward to working with Maureen, Jacqueline, Matthew and Elizabeth. More information about them is available on our website.

The results of the election were:

Public – Southern constituency 
(Exeter, Teignbridge, Torbay, South Hams, and Plymouth)

  • Maureen Cable elected for a term of 3 years
  • Jacqueline Mann elected for a term of 3 years
  • Matthew Tanner elected for a term of 2 years
  • Elizabeth Witt elected for a term of 2 years
