A series of essential road repairs and highway improvements are due to be carried out on the A3015 Rydon Lane in Exeter in the coming weeks.
The work, which is scheduled to take place between Monday 19 January and Saturday 7 March, will be undertaken in phases on several areas of the route.
The scheme will start on both the northbound and southbound carriageway of Rydon Lane with lane closures needed from Monday 19 January to Thursday 19 February to enable drainage work, vegetation clearance and replacement of signs and streetlighting.
From Wednesday 4 February, there will be overnight closures on weekday evenings, 7pm-7am, for resurfacing and line marking on different sections of the road –
- Rydon Lane (southbound) will be closed on weekday evenings (7pm-7am) from Wednesday 4 February to Tuesday 17 February
- A379 on-slip will close overnight (7pm-7am) on weekday evenings from Friday 6 February to Wednesday 11 February, and Monday 16 February to Friday 20 February
- Rydon Lane (northbound) will close on weekday evenings (7pm-7am) from Friday 20 February to Saturday 28 February
- Pynes Hill junction will undergo overnight closures (7pm-7am) on weekday evenings from Friday 27 February – Saturday 7 March
Diversions will be in place throughout these overnight closures but emergency access will be maintained. Site staff will be on hand to ensure residents can access their properties, however delays are to be expected.
Please bear in mind that dates are subject to change, depending on the weather.
