Exmouth Town Council is looking for volunteers to take on key roles and be part of our emergency response team!
Come along to hear from the Environment Agency, East Devon District Council and Devon and Cornwall Police about the importance of community preparedness and resilience, types of volunteer roles for emergency incidents and how you can get involved.
Whether you’re great at checking in on vulnerable residents, an avid weather watcher or a pro people organiser, we need YOU! Training will be given to those who sign up to help. Refreshments will be provided. Bring your enthusiasm and let’s work together to create a resilient Exmouth!
Why volunteer?
• Make a positive impact in your community
• Gain valuable skills and experience
• Meet like-minded people and build lasting friendships
• Understand how emergency services work in an incident
• Build local resilience to improve community preparedness
To book your place please email reception@exmouth.gov.uk or call 01395 276167.
The event will be held on 18th September at the Town Hall from 6.30pm until 8pm
