Police appeal for information following a fatal collision in Exeter

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a fatal collision on Cowick Lane, Exeter last week.

Officers were called just before 1pm on Thursday 29 May to a report of a collision involving four vehicles.

It was reported that the collision involved a Toyota Yaris, Vauxhall Movano Van and two parked and unattended cars.

A female passenger in the Yaris, in her 80s from Exeter, was taken to hospital with injuries. She has since sadly passed away.

The driver of the Yaris, a male in his 80s, suffered minor injuries as did the driver and front seat passenger of the Vauxhall van.

Anyone with any relevant information CCTV or dashcam footage which may assist the investigation is asked to contact police via their website or by calling 101 quoting log 343 of 29 May 2025.
