Police appeal for information following a road traffic collision involving a motorcycle near Honiton

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a single vehicle road traffic collision near Honiton.

Police were called at around 12.05pm on Tuesday 8 July to the collision involving a black Triumph Bonneville motorcycle which took place between Smeatharpe and Dunkeswell.

Police and ambulance service personnel attended the scene. A man in his 60s was conveyed to Derriford Hospital by air ambulance having suffered serious injuries.

Officers from the Alliance Roads Policing Team attended the incident and carried out a detailed investigation.

Anyone with any relevant information or video footage which may assist the investigation is asked to contact the Police via their website or by calling 101 quoting log 315 of 08/07/2025.
