 
                            Police were called at around 9.40am on Sunday 10 August to the M5 southbound between junction 28 and 29 following a collision.
The collision involved a blue BMW 320 and a grey Skoda Karoq.
During the incident the BMW overturned and came to rest on its roof. The driver was taken to hospital with a serious injury, one of the passengers was also taken to hospital to be checked for minor injuries.
Occupants of both cars were checked over by paramedics at the scene.
Officers from Devon and Cornwall’s Roads Policing team conducted a detailed examination of the scene, which required the road to be closed for several hours.
