Police are seeking the public’s help to identify a suspect following an exposure offence in Otterton in the early afternoon on Sunday 1 December.
The incident took place on the public footpath between Otterton and St Mary’s Church, Bicton at approximately 12:40pm.
The suspect followed a lone female walking her dog down a public footpath for 10 minutes.
When she leaned down to put her dog on a lead, the suspect stood over her and exposed himself, commenting that it was a lovely day.
After he was queried on his actions, he walked off in the direction of Otterton Mill.
The suspect is described as a white male in his late 20s with an English accent. He was of a pale complexion, approximately 5ft 8ins tall and of a thin build.
He was wearing a black hat with ear flaps, tanned sweatshirt, dark blue waterproof jacket tied around his waist, and blue jeans.
Investigating officers are keen to speak with anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or who can help identify suspect.
