A home in Exeter was raided by police yesterday, following reports of suspicious activity.
The operation, carried out in the Wonford area, resulted in one person being arrested and a small quantity of drugs being seized.
The raid left the door of the property severely damaged. The action was prompted by information from members of the public who reported concerns about drug-related activity at the address.
In a statement shared on Facebook, Exeter Police said:
“Today, the Exeter Neighbourhood Team executed a misuse of drugs warrant at an address in the Wonford area, following information provided by members of the public and other agencies.
“A small amount of drugs were seized, and an individual was arrested and taken to custody.”
The Police encourage residents to report concerns about drug-related crime or potential drug exploitation. Reports can be made online at www.devon-cornwall.police.uk.
