Due to essential cliff repair works, the undercliff / Millennium Walkway is closed from Jacob’s Ladder to the beach access steps near the offshore breakwaters until further notice.
For safety reasons, a section of the cliff‑top path within Connaught Gardens is also closed, near the Glasshouse.
These closures are in place to protect the public from serious risk, including falling debris and unstable ground. Accessing closed areas is dangerous and could result in injury.
Please do not attempt to enter closed sections, heed all on‑site signage, and use alternative routes where available.
The Council appreciate your patience and cooperation while this important safety work is carried out and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
