Six calls in one week for Exmouth RNLI

Exmouth RNLI launched on service for the sixth time this week, this time to a stranded dog.

At 15.49 yesterday (Sunday, H.M. Coastguard requested the launch of the Exmouth RNLI lifeboat after receiving a report of a blind & deaf dog that had accidentally found itself cut off by the rising tide in the River Exe.

The Exmouth RNLI ILB, George Bearman II, launched at 15.49 and were on scene within a few minutes. The stranded dog was quickly secured by our volunteer crew and returned to its grateful owners.

A great outcome for our volunteer crews after a challenging week of multiple shouts.
