People living in Exeter are being invited to help shape the City Council’s customer standards by taking part in an online workshop.
Those taking part will be helping set out the level of service that residents can expect when they contact the Council in any way.
As a thank you, everyone taking part will receive a £20 online gift card that can be used at a range of retailers.
Cllr Liz Pole, Lead Councillor with responsibility for Customer Services, said: “By taking part in these workshops, people can help set the accountability standards residents expect from the Council. If you'd like to participate, we would love to hear from you.”
The workshops will take place on the following dates. Those taking part can choose their preferred date:
- Wednesday 16 September (3pm to 4:30pm)
- Thursday 17 September (6pm to 7:30pm)
- Monday 21 September (6pm to 7:30pm)
- Tuesday 22 September (6pm to 7:30pm)
Each workshop will be carried out via Zoom and involve around six or seven other people and a researcher from Enventure Research. A Council representative may be present at the workshops.
Workshops will be digitally recorded so that the Council can listen back and make notes. These recordings will only be viewed or listened to by Enventure Research and will not be passed on to anyone else. They will be deleted after the research is complete and any feedback provided will be anonymous.
Following the workshops, draft Customer Standards will be developed and shared through a wider public consultation so that residents, staff and other stakeholders can give their views on whether they agree or disagree with them before they are finalised and adopted across Exeter City Council.
