Devon & Cornwall Police received a report of a sexual assault against a teenage girl in the area of Gypsy Lane, Exmouth, on the afternoon of Thursday 7 May, with the incident taking place between 4pm and 5.30pm.
It was reported two males approached the victim and sexually assaulted her.
She is being supported by specially trained officers while enquiries are being carried out.
