A Look ahead to all of of this weekends local football fixtures
In local football on Saturday after their excellent 2-0 victory over league leaders Yate Town last weekend Exmouth Town now take on Horndean FC from the Isthmian league in the FA Trophy 2nd Qualifying round at Southern road. With confidence high Town will be looking to progress to the 1st round proper, KO is at 3-00 pm.
In the Peninsula league east current leaders travel to Stoke Gabriel/TP at their Churchward ground, all other games for our local peninsula sides are in the FA vase with in form Sidmouth Town traveling to Somerset side Wellington, Honiton Town host Torpoint Athletic at Mountbatten park , Okehampton Argyle welcome Millbrook AFC to Simmons park with Bovey Tracey make the trip to Western League side Ilfracombe Town at Marlborough park, Crediton Utd visit Middlezoy Rovers Ethen park ground and lowly Axminster Town travel to Plymouth side Elburton Villa.
In the A&S Devon league, top of the table Alphington fc host Ipplepen Athletic at church lane , Budleigh Salterton travel to North Devon to face Appledore FC, Beer Albion are also away when they visit North Molton S C ,Topsham Town go to South Devon to take on Bere Alston Utd and Ottery St Mary also travel south when they play Dartmouth Utd at Longcross .
In the Devon and Exeter premier league Colyton fc entertain Clyst Valley at the Peace memorial ground and Upottery host Wellington second eleven at Glebe park. In division one East Budleigh travel to Horsdon park to take on Elmore Utd reserves while in division 2 Exmouth Spartans welcome Dawlish Utd to the Commons ground with Seaton Town hosting Alphington second eleven in the Sleeman cup at Colyford road.
In the third division Tipton St John pay a visit to Heavitree Utd at East Wonford hill and in division 5 Ex Dons visit West Devon side Chagford at their cricket ground pitch .
Finally in division 7 Exe Utd visit Tiverton side Westexe Park Rangers seconds ,Axmouth FC travel to Tedburn St Mary reserves at Barley park and Exmouth U/25s go to Exeter to take on Priory FC at the college grounds
