Exmouth Town's Western League promotion hopes took a knock when they were beaten 3-2 at mid table Cadbury Heath, In the Peninsula League East Sidmouth Town beat bottom club Stoke Gabriel 4-0 at Manston Road but Ottery St Mary were well beaten by 8 goals to 0.

In local football on Saturday Exmouth Town's Western League promotion hopes took a knock when they were beaten 3-2 at mid table Cadbury Heath. Although they took an early lead when Arron Denny fired in after just one minute the home side equalised soon after, Nathan Cooper restored towns lead to make it 2-1 at the break but a poor second half with 2 goals from the home side saw Town return pointless.
In the Peninsula League East Sidmouth Town beat bottom club Stoke Gabriel 4-0 at Manston Road but Ottery St Mary were well beaten by 8 goals to 0 at North Devon side Torridgeside and Crediton Utd went down 3-1 at promotion chasing Torpoint Athletics.
Axminster Town drew 1 all at Tigers Way with visitors Holsworthy and there were also draws for Cullompton Rangers at Ivybridge and Honiton Town at home to Torrington both by 2 goals each. In the Scott Richards Devon League Budleigh Salterton easily won the local derby encounter with Exmouth Town Reserves by 6 goals to 0 at Southern Road and Topsham Town beat Clyst Valley 2-0 at their Coronation Ground.
Finally in the Devon and Exeter Leagues Dawlish Utd had a credible 2 all draw at Ottery St Mary Seconds at Washbrook Meadow in the Premier Division while East Budleigh picked up a 2-1 victory at Ducks Meadow over University Thirds in Division One.
In Division Two Exmouth Spartans also won by 2 goals to 1 over Winkleigh at the Commons ground.
There were no fixtures for either Exmouth Rovers or Ex Don's in Division Nine.
