In local football on Saturday in the Southern League One South Exmouth Town were well beaten by Willand Rovers by 3 goals to 1 at Silver Street, having taken the lead through a Levi Landricombe goal Town fell away badly after the equaliser and with Ace High being sent off in the second half try as they might there was no way back for Town who returned home pointless.

In the Peninsula League East Cullompton Rangers narrowly beat visitors Axminster Town by 4 goals to 3 at Speed's Meadow, Sidmouth Town played out a scoreless draw with Torrington AFC at Manstone Lane while Teignmouth FC had the better of an eleven goal thriller over visitors Bishops Lydeard at Coombe Valley winning 6-5.

In the A&S Devon League Budleigh Salterton lost 2-1 to Plymouth side Mount Gould FC at Greenway Lane, Topsham Town were held to a 3 all draw at Newtown FC but Ottery St Mary convincingly beat visitors Barnstaple Town Reserves 5-0 at Washbrook Meadow. 

In the Devon and Exeter Leagues, in the Premier Division Upottery had a comfortable 3-0 victory at Okehampton Argyle Reserves and Colyton FC drew 2 all with Sidmouth Town Second Eleven at Peace Memorial Ground, in Division One East Budleigh ran in double figures at home against Chard town Reserves winning by 10 goals to 1 at but  Lympstone Utd were beaten 3-1 at Bow AAC and Dawlish Utd lost 4-0 to Wellington Second Eleven at the Leisure Centre.

In Division 2 Exmouth Spartans thrashed Seaton Town 9-0 at Colyford Road and  finally Otterton overcame City Raiders By 4 goals to 1 at Stantyway.
