In local football at the weekend Exmouth Town were without a fixture due to FA Cup qualifying games but next saturdays opponents Paulton Rovers had an easy victory over Bideford by 5 goals to 2 to move into the next round.

In local football at the weekend Exmouth Town were without a fixture due to FA Cup qualifying games but next Saturdays opponents Paulton Rovers had an easy victory over Bideford by 5 goals to 2 to move into the next round. 

In the Peninsula League East Sidmouth Town had a credible 3 all draw in North Devon with Torridgeside but Axminster town continue to set the pace at the top with a 2-1 victory over Newton Abbot Spurs at Tiger Way and Crediton Utd followed their good start with a 3-0 win over Elburton villa at Lord's meadow.

Cullompton Rangers had a good 4 goal to 2 victory at Speeds Meadow over Plymouth side Marjons and Teignmouth easily accounted for Elmore 3 -0 at Coombe Valley but Honiton Towns trip to Dartmouth Utd ended in a 2-1 defeat.

There were no fixtures in the A&S Devon League but in the  Devon and Exeter leagues  Clyst Valley Reserve's beat Dawlish Utd 5-1 at Winslade park in the premier division while East Budleigh lost 4-0 at Hatherleigh in Division One.

In the Third Division Heavitree Utd had a 2-1 win over visiting Seaton Town , Exmouth Rovers beat Otterton Reserves 2-1 at Stantyway lane in Division 7 and finally Ex Dons narrowly defeated Tedburn st Mary second eleven 4-3 at Barely Park.
