In local football yesterday Exmouth Town lost their unbeaten league record when they were beaten 1-0 at Yate Town in front of a crowd of over 600 by a late goal in the second half and were somewhat unlucky to return home without a point.
In the Southern League Premier Division Tiverton Town were held to a scoreless draw at the Moorcroft Stadium by visiting Plymouth Parkway.
