In last night's local football Exmouth Towns run of poor results continued when they were well beaten by visitors Bemerton Heath Harlequins by 4 goals to 0 at Southern Roadleaving them still looking for their first win in the Southern league one south this season.
In the Devon cup Crediton Utd produced a great 3-2 victory over a young Exeter City side at Lords Meadow while Sidmouth Town beat Bovey Tracey 4-3 at Manstone Lane and Teignmouthafc won 2-0 away to Torridgeside fc in North Devon but Axminster Town were beaten 3 -2 by Western league side Buckland Athletic at Tigers Way.
