In local rugby on Saturday nearly all our sides completed their fixtures for the current season.

In the Regional one south west Exmouth Cockles finished on a high with a 31-17 home victory over West Devon visitors Okehampton at the Imperial ground. Going into the break 12 -3 down a much improved second half gave them a comfortable a win to finish in mid table.

In Regional two Sidmouth lost 36-24 in their last game at Somerset side Wellington but league runners up Crediton beat North Petherton 36-29 also away.

While in Counties Western West with Topsham already crowned champions Tiverton easily beat visiting Bude 36-3 at Bolham Road.

Finally in Counties 2 Devon  Exmouth Quins were hammered at home to league leaders Tavistock by 76 points to 14.
