Police appeal for information following a sexual assault in Torquay

Police have released an image of a man they would like to speak to following a sexual assault in Torquay.

The incident took place on Union Street/Newton Road on Friday 6 December at around 7am.

A woman in her 20s was walking through town when she was followed closely by an unknown male from behind for around 10 to 15 minutes. He then sexually assaulted her over clothing.

Officers would like to speak to the man pictured who it is believed may be able to assist with enquiries.
