Serious injury collision, Teigngrace

Officers were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving a red Triumph Bonneville motorbike, on Summer Lane, Teigngrace, near Newton Abbot at around 6.30am today, Tuesday 10 December.

Police investigating a serious road traffic collision involving a motorbike near Teigngrace are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

Officers were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving a red Triumph Bonneville motorbike, on Summer Lane, Teigngrace, near Newton Abbot at around 6.30am today, Tuesday 10 December.

The rider, a man in his 60s, was treated at the scene and taken to hospital with life changing injuries.

The road was closed whilst investigations took place. Officers from the Roads Policing Team wish to thank the public for their patience whilst the road was closed.

It was reopened at around 11.30am.
