Selina Ross
Selina Ross Bio:
I had a great time working on the original Devonair from 1988. I started helping out after school on 'Street Level' with Nicky Ezer & Chris Philips and I went on to work with Dave Mason on 'Bubbling Under', before the chart show on a Sunday.
Jonny Haywood then joined Devonair and I spent my weeknights working with him before being let loose on the airwaves alone. I presented numerous shows, mostly across the weekends, including overnights. I can still feel that 3am wall now... how I managed it without caffeine I'll never know!
This led me on to work with AA Roadwatch, providing travel news to BBC & ILR stations across the South & West. With redundancy on the horizon, one of the stations I voiced travel news for took me on full time. That station was Wave 105 where I spent over 20 happy years providing travel news and co hosting with Steve Power. Feel very fortunate to still be working in radio after all these years, and I couldn't be happier to be back on DevonAir, where it started, all those years ago.
